Marchesa for Lenox

Always a fan of Marchesa, the beautiful flowers, ruffles, and perfect architectured garnments were always something I dreamed of owning. Their pieces are so diverse, a piece for everyone! Sometimes I would look at one of their dresses and Im able to compare it to a bursting, beautiful flower.

Marchesa SS 2011:

This collection definitely reminded me of ballerinas :)

*gasp* The  ruffles, the colors, the shoes, and the hair, all scream  CRISTINE.

Sitting on top of petite, pink and white chairs, topped off with bows, this event was definitely set up well to look like a wedding. All the more reason to:
From runway to tabletops, designers, Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, discussed their inspiration behind their new tabletop collection, Marchesa by Lenox, especially designed for weddings. Both designers, have just most recently  given birth. Chapman newly wed, gave birth to her first baby girl, India Pearl Weinstein, this past August. Champagne (don't worry, I didn't drink!) and mini, delicious cupckaes by Baked by Melissa were served at this Bloomingdales event.
Here's a look into today's most recent event:

I definitely love how they  were  both  sitting with their feet in the same position  while being interviewed. That's multitasking!
Interviews on the designer's newest tabletop collection. One second the interviewer (far right) is calmly sitting down until...
SHE FALLS. The interviewer, just for a second leans back and WHOOF! She'scrashing onto the mannequin and breaks a couple of the newest plates. Definitely a "omigod. did that JUST HAPPEN?!?" moment.
SHE'S OKAY EVERYONE! PHEW!
Q&A with the audience and talking about their designs on their plates

" Who says you can't match your dress with your plates?"- Georgina Chapman
on the designs of Marchesa's plate.  One of their recent collections inspired the intricate designs on their dish ware.

the conducted the rest of the interviews standing. Good choice.
