"This season, I was inspired by the "BritPop" music scene of the early 90s. This second British Invasion featured bands like Oasis, Blur, Suede, and later on The Spice Girls, and developed as a uniquely British reaction to the various musical and cultural trends of the period occurring in the United States. These groups, which wrote about uniquely British concerns and sang about them in regional dialects, formed the backbone of a larger cultural movement called "Cool Britannia."
The Boy Meets Girl® collection incorporates loud "pops" of color, and fun, edgy and unapologetic phraseology and imagery, including prominently showcasing the Boy Meets Girl® name and logo. This invasion is all about attitude, and attitude is age-defying."

And indeed fun and edgy was all over the runway! Not only was the performance by Leah Labelle great but if there's anyone who knows how to bring high energy and fun to clothes, it's Stacy Igel! There are so many great ways to style any Boy Meets Girl pieces!
