These have to be my favorite H&M ads ever.

LOVE this one!

After entering one of my favorite stores ever, H&M once again catches my eye and my wallet for the hundreth time. I always walk in the store never knowing where to look first. Heading to wherever I saw sparkles, I pass by the newest H&M Winter 2010 magazine and my hand snatches the last one almost immediately. As I'm flipping through the pages, I see probably one of the most intriguing, beautiful dress ever. My eyes are almost bugging out of my head as my jaw drops and I see that, without a doubt, it's Lanvin's newest ad for their collabortation with H&M. Not only are they funny but they're just jaw droppingly (as you've witnessed) beautiful. If their ads were amazing, I can't even think about how much I'm going to be hyperventilating when I see the pieces at the store! Talk about good promotion!  

Ladies and gents, with pieces this good, I think you might have to grab a tent and start camping out because there's bound to be a line!

Alexander Wang Trunk Show

Spring 2011
After editing some photos from some of the shoots I had at a friend's house in Brooklyn, I made my way onto the L train to transfer to the N to 5th Avenue.
I was fortunate enough not to have any school that day since it was Veteran's Day.
It's funny that for most people, teenagers for the most part, aren't really thinking about the fact that that day was dedicated for the brave soldiers who fought for our country. It really is just another lucky day off for most.
Tangent! Sorry! I kinda felt like I needed to mention that.
But anywhoo, I so really excited while I was walking up to Madison Avenue.
Alexander Wang has such an amazing ability in adding comfort, style, and reasonbale pricing to his masterpieces. It's almost as if he designs for the woman who wants to feel sexy but not looking like she's something she's not. If I were wearing Alexander Wang, what would be going through my head is:
this is me, if you like it or not. I don't need to be wearing anything extreme to make a statement.
I am the statement

I wear the clothes. Not the other way around.

Zac Posen: Guest at the 2010 Glamour Awards

With a bit of a tear in my eye from the Glamour Award show and all the amazing women who I am now proud to call my newest idols, myself and the girls of the Lower East Side Girls Club made our way down the (what it felt like a million) stairs and out side to our coach bus.

As me and a couple of my friends are talking excitedly about the amazing show, we're crossing the street and I reach over to tell one of my friends about how much I love a woman's gorgeous black dress with shining silver fringe hanging from her shoulders, blowing and gleaming in the wind.

All of a sudden, I do a double take when I notice a familiar male figure (don't ask me how I recognized it).

As I walk on ahead, I recognize the man's face...

"Oh, hi! may I take a picture with you?" I say to the well-known (and may I say very handsome in his suit) designer.
He replied with a freindly "Sure!" and I happily took to his left side and smiled as much as I was honored to be meeting this amazing artist.

Thinking of ways to get more people to check out Pretty Provocative, I created a "Your Style" photo shoot contest on the Pretty Provocative facebook group to attract new followers and readers.
All outfits were styled by each of the winners. I just did some directing and photography :)

 My awesome G11 goes to prove that you do not need a big, fancy-lensed camera for shooting!

I was actually having this conversation with Bianca and Fatima.

You can have a very inexpensive camera, but as long as you have a good eye and good motivation, you can take good photos.

I have yet to edit and upload the rest of the pictures from this shoot as well as get the other photos from my friend Fatima who was also a photographer at the shoot.

It was a gorgeous day for shooting, a little cold but bearable.

With Central Park being the biggest park in New York City, there were so many possible places to shoot.

We ended up shooting in a variety of loactions, always looking for the best light of course.

The picture above with Bianca sitting on top of all the leaves really showed the fall season with the gorgeous colors of the leaves.

Location: Brooklyn somewhere on Clarkson Avenue...
The lights came up and all the guests at my friend's Sweet 16 Bash began mingling in and out of the bar from the dance floor to just catching their breaths from dancing to all the music.
Coming directly from my film class at the Paley, I made my way onto the Brooklyn bound 3 train. Oh look, a train malfuntion.
Nothing new on the MTA weekend service.
I was so new to the neighborhood when I exited off Sutter Avenue. It was actually kind of scary but living in the city teaches you some survival tips. ;D
Of course I was there in support of one of my closest friends with my Canon wrapped around my neck.
Diamond, one of Pretty Provocative's newest followers, came to me and asked if I could finally take her pictures.
Exiting out the back door, it shut with a loud clang.
With my Canon ready in hands, I was already switched gears to my photographer mood, looking for the best lighting in the pitch black night.
The only lighting available was a dim, yellowish light by the door. I did some test shots and realized, it wasn't that bad!

People began coming out from the party to see what was going on.
I was suddenly yelling for people to get their heads out of the background because they were so visible.
It actually gave a cool effect to Julia's photo
